Mackenzie Kriss, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC
Mackenzie is a highly skilled and compassionate mental health care professional with a deep commitment to providing personalized, compassionate care. Growing up in Austintown, OH, Mackenzie pursued a career in nursing, obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Youngstown State University. She spent several years working as an inpatient psychiatric RN across the lifespan, gaining valuable experience while earning a Master of Science in Nursing from Kent State University.
Following her advanced education, Mackenzie completed a fellowship program that honed her expertise in psychiatric care. Her professional experience spans various outpatient community mental health settings, where she specializes in treating various mood, trauma, and anxiety disorders. Her approach is rooted in empathy and a strong emphasis on trauma-informed care, ensuring that each patient feels heard and supported.
Outside of work, Mackenzie is an avid adventurer who enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. She is always accompanied by her loyal dog, Arya, on her many adventures. With a passion for overcoming challenges both in and out of the clinical setting, Mackenzie brings a dynamic and dedicated approach to mental health care.
Madison Taylor, MSN, PMHNP-BC
Madison is a board-certified Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with a deep passion for helping individuals find hope and healing on their mental health journeys. After graduating from Canfield High School, she earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Youngstown State University. Her early experience as a nurse in inpatient psychiatry fueled her desire to provide more kind and comprehensive mental health care. This led her to pursue a master’s degree at Kent State University, where she became a Nurse Practitioner specializing in mental health.
Throughout her career, Madison has had the privilege of working at a non-profit community mental health center, where she has treated individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges. She has developed a particular passion for helping people struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, bipolar, and adjustment disorders.
Madison believes that while past experiences shape us, they do not define who we are or what we can become. With the right support, everyone has the potential to make meaningful, positive changes in their lives.
In her free time, Madison enjoys spending time outdoors, whether gardening, hiking, or simply sitting in the sunshine. She finds that a few minutes outside each day helps her feel more connected to the world around her.
